Hi! My name is Hitomi
Thank you for visiting my profile page.
I was born in Tokushima Shikoku island. I like my hometown where is well-known
for Buddhist pilgrimage or a summer dancing festival.
My husband said to me before marriage, “My hometown is also nice. Really good. Come with me!”
Yes!!! It was true. Now we live in Shingu where is central of Kumano.
We can go to three Grand Shrines or good conditions world heritage Kumano-Kodo ancient road within an hour. Rivers, seashore, sky, green are so beautiful. Food, water, air are fresh. Ways lead us to Osaka, Ise, Nagoya, or The Pacific. It has the convenience and the nature both. People including me really love this town.
I started my career of guide in 2009 English speaking guide training of this Shingu-City.
In those days, international tourists were very few, but we considered to need guides who told about Kumano correctly.
I would tell you our history, customs, rules, folktales, etc. that you don’t fine in a guidebook.
I hope you will make friends with locals and have good memories in this your vacation.
