I have spent many years with students as an elementary and junior high school teacher. I am interested in history, especially Japanese history. I enjoy visiting shrines, Buddhist temples and statues and other historic spots.
Our prefecture, Wakayama, has many historic and beautiful natural spots such as Kumano-kodo, the ancient pilgrimage routes. I would like to help people not only from Japan, but also from foreign countries to discover the wonderful spots Wakayama has to offer.
My positive attitude and communication skills gained from my
teaching background should be useful as a guide.
