Guided 49 students from the university in Nagoya. We divided them into 4 groups and
4 guides took them along.
It was a perfect sunny day for hiking.

I guided one of the groups, having 12 students. They climbed up all the way to Seigantoji with a good pace. Some of them looked like a little bit tired after a long road trip, but they enjoyed walking and the cultural view of Daimonzaka and Nachi.
Kumano Kodo hiking is very popular at their university. There were even some students waiting for a cancellation!
They told me they really had been looking forward to this day.
I got a lot of questions from them and I felt that they already had background information about Japanese history. I hope to keep enjoying Kumano with intellectual guests like them.
