Climb through the neighborhoods of Takahara and into the mountains. You’ll pass some oji sites on your way down to the roadside rest area in the Chikatsuyu area. This is a good route for those hiking from Takijiri to Chikatsuyu with no vehicle service. Those hiring a taxi can ride to Chikatsuyu directly from Takahara.
There are many interesting spots to see such as Daimon-oji, Jyujyo-oji and Osakamoto-oji.
