It was raining heavily from early in the morning but the weather forecast said that it was going to stop from around 9 am, I suggested to delay the time to catch a bus left at 8:02.
I told them that we had 2 plans; starting from Takijiri and walk the all route to Chikatsuyu and walk from Takahara skipping from Takijiri to Takahara section. And I also told them that if we walk all the way, we will arrive at Chikatsuyu at 5 pm.
They agreed with the first plan.
Since they didn’t have breakfast then, we got back to the hotel near the meeting place to have it. While we were chatting, we saw the rain got really heavy and windy outside…we thought that our decision was right.
Luckily, the rain got weaker after having breakfast so we took the 8:02 bus and move over to Takijiri, starting point of the walk.
Since Janis-san got a cold (or hay fever?) she seemed a little hard to climb up uphills but we were able to arrive at Chikatsuyu at 5 as we planed because they were very fit!
After arriving at Chikatsuyu, I took them to a bus stop to show them before getting to the accommodation because they had to catch tomorrow morning .
They were grateful that they couldn’t make the plan like this without the guide.
We walked these courses this day.
